Our Parent Teacher Association theme this year is "Building Community Through Unity" Annual membership dues are $15 per person and membership is open to parents, extended family members and friends of Olinda students.
The PTA makes many decisions that affect what happens at Olinda and you have the right to have a voice and a vote in these decisions. However, in order to vote you must be a paid member of the PTA. Even if you are unable to attend each PTA meeting, joining the PTA shows your support for the Olinda community. To join the PTA, either fill out he PTA membership envelope that was sent home in the folders or print the membership form online and fill it out. Be sure to include your membership dues of $15/person and return it to your child's teacher or you can mail it to Olinda. Please make checks payable to Olinda PTA. | Olinda PTA Membership Drive August 25, 2009 - October 30, 2009 During the membership drive we will collect and tally all memberships received by October 30th. For Grades K 6, if your class has 20 students or less-20 memberships will earn a classroom party. If your class has more than 20 students-your goal is to sign up as many members as you have students, i.e., 34 students will need 34 members. Memberships must be received by October 30th to count towards a class party. Each person that joins the Olinda PTA during our membership drive will automatically be entered into a raffle for a $75 Trader Joe’s Gift Card. The drawing will take place at November’s PTA meeting on Wednesday, November 18th at 7pm in the MPR. Simply fill out a PTA membership envelope, include a check made out to Olinda PTA with membership dues of $15.00 per person, and return it to your child’s teacher.
RESULTS as of Oct 24th
